Juliana Miller
Ocean Advocate
Juliana has a biology and marine biology degree, and since graduating has been a Peace Corps Volunteer in the South Pacific, a government worker, a science programs coordinator, and an educator. She believes that teaching people about the marine environment, the amazing animals that live within it, and the dangers it faces is one of the most important ways to keep with Aquatopia’s mission of restoring the life, diversity and abundance of marine ecosystems. She hopes to be involved with Aquatopia in any way she can to educate Florida’s communities about the importance of what’s in their backyard and how the little things they do every day can make a difference in our ocean’s health.
