Payne’s business career encompasses over 25 years of service to the nonprofit sector. She has led a number of successful fundraising efforts on behalf of organizations including: Red Cross, Girl Scouts, and MADD just to name a few. Her love for the ocean and its many inhabitants has been clear and evident since her teenage years when she would travel to Florida during spring breaks and vacations to take in the natural beauty of the water. In her role with Aquatopia, she seeks to facilitate, collaborate support and fund ocean exploration, education and advocacy to gain positive momentum on issues surrounding ocean health and policy.
